Test organic acids in urine
The organic acid metabolism test is an aciduria study to identify inborn errors of metabolism and/or predominant metabolic pathways in our body. It includes the determination of more than 70 analytes related to microbiota, the Krebs cycle, detoxification and neurobiology, among others. The techniques used are LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, ion chromatography and HPLC.

- General diagnostic screening.
- Evaluation of nutritional deficits.
- Evaluation of inflammatory states.
- Assessment of fatigue and physical performance.
- Evaluation of profiles of hyperactivity, attention deficit, mood or behavior changes.
- Evaluation of neurological imbalances.
- Assessment of oxalate metabolism.

Frequent questions
Can I take a test without a medical recommendation?
All the tests in the Digest Test portfolio can be done without a medical recommendation. However, we recommend that you contact a specialist doctor for the interpretation of the results and later for the recommendation of a personalized treatment.
The results of the food sensitivity test are presented in a clear manner and are accompanied by information and recommendations that allow you to reconfigure your diet yourself. However, we recommend that you consult a specialist/nutritionist to help you configure your diet to avoid nutritional deficiencies as a result of eliminating some foods from your daily diet.
The results of microbiome/intestinal dysbiosis tests are very complex and must be interpreted by a specialist considering the patient's clinical picture. Moreover, the personalized treatment can only be configured by a specialist after a thorough consultation about the patient's medical history and the medical history of family members. Likewise, in the case of vaginal dysbiosis, endometriosis, brain status, neurotransmitters, organic acids, SIBO tests.
